Debate day? 🙊

Second last day of December 2021, almost a new year eve😅 as usual our class was busy in hanging out with eachother and teacher arrived, guess who? Our evergreen handsome English teacher, Eak sir.

What day is today?

As class started, Eak sir asked a question, "Is everyone a scientist?" Everyone has different perspectives, some with yes, some with nos and some neutral. And my answer was no because in my opinion, we are intelligent in our own way and it doesn't mean we all are scientist, right! 

Yes and No groups:

As I said, the whole class was divides in 3groups. Sir, called yes and no group infront of the class, whereas the neutral group were regarded as judges. But for what?🤫

Later on, sorry told us that the two groups; one with yes and another with no view should debate against eachother. We were excited. But honestly I had no idea😄I was just going with the flow. In this dilemma, one thing I knew was I might not debate but it will benefit to me being in one of the groups rather just sitting in the  chair as a judge.

We started!

Now, the debate on "Is everyone a scientist?" formally started. We started to present our points and opposite team also started to present their points. The debate went long than the allocated time (around 8minutes long) but it was interesting to present views and counter question the opposition.

Result🤞

As we know, we had a neutral group who were the judges too. Eak sir asked some of the judges about our performances. One said opposition team was better while another said we presented more valid points so we were better than them. It was like both of us are winners. And it was exactly the same.

Behind the scene!

Actually, the main purpose of today's debate was not to find who presented how strongly or who won the debate but it was all about the course book of English. Yes, you heard it ✅ right. "Is everyone a scientist?" Is one of the chapters name. 

Purpose: 

I was not know but later on sir revealed that yes, everyone is a scientist. Because scientists are not only those who do scientific experiments but are also the people who find new ways to solve the existing problems, it may be in daily life, college life or anything. And it is interesting. Isn't it?

So, with this beautiful thing we ended our class and importantly 20minutes prior the ending time, we were happy for sure😅 and who won't. 

It was another beautiful day.
